Open Air Arena
The arena gently rises from the park landscape of the Gärten der Welt, blending harmoniously into its surroundings. The benches and lawn steps, which encircle the stage, can accommodate up to 5,000 people. The amphitheatre-like arena was opened in 2017 as part of the IGA Berlin and is still considered one of its architectural highlights. It was designed and built by Cologne-based architectural firm Paul Böhm.
