Osmanthus Juice Teahouse

China boasts the world’s oldest tea culture. The carefully celebrated tea ceremony is even called “tea art” in Chinese. So obviously the Chinese Garden in the Gärten der Welt couldn’t come without a teahouse. Here you can choose from some 30 original Chinese tea rarities, and if you are interested in a real Chinese tea ceremony, simply book an appointment. The teahouse also offers a dignified setting for other events.

Snack Bar at the Rose Garden and the Water Playground

Yes, the Berlin cuisine is a special, if simple, affair. Those who just don’t want to waste flower-gazing time can quickly grab a bite to eat at one of our two snack bars. Served are curry and bratwurst, as well as vegetarian food. And if you feel the need to recover some of those recently expired calories as efficiently as possible, why not have a summery ice cream for dessert. The snack bars in the so-called Berlin “Schitwedda” remain closed.

Warung Bali

“Warung” is Indonesian and means “small shop”. In Bali, the Warung is a small, often mobile stall for simply-prepared food. The Gärten der Welt Warung Bali takes this idea further to include original Balinese furnishings, allowing you to relax on 40 indoor and 60 patio places, regardless of the weather, and enjoy food inspired by the tropics.

Opening Hours

daily 10 am to 6 pm (March to October)
during winter season only open from 10 am to 4 pm (November to February)

Tsingtao Pavilion

Opposite the Chinese teahouse, nestled in lush, green meadows, you’ll find Tsingtao Pavilion. As with almost all buildings in the Gärten der Welt, the pavilion is an original, typical of the country, which is characterised mainly by its curved, overhanging rafters. The pavilion's terrace serves Chinese specialities. The richest food is best eaten with an original Chinese Tsingtao beer.
