Wolkenhain

Wolkenhain, the architectural heart of the Kienberg Park, is located right next to the Gärten der Welt. The sophisticated construction consists of about 170 steel knots supported by slender steel columns. The irregularly arranged struts symbolise the organic growth of branches on a tree. The corridors are surrounded by a translucent membrane, which is impressively illuminated in the dark. The highest point of Wolkenhain is 120 metres above sea level. From here you can let your eyes wander far off into the landscape of Brandenburg or the centre of Berlin. A lift is also available for mobility-impaired visitors.
