Romp around with “Konrad in the South Seas”, climb the highest climbing frames or relax in the giant hammock - your children will find a real paradise in the Gärten der Welt.

All play landscapes are inspired by Erich Kästner's children's novel “The 35th May”. In this book, Konrad goes on an adventure to the South Seas with his uncle and the talking circus horse Negro Kaballo.

The water playground “Konrad rides in the South Seas” isn’t just a highlight in summer. An enormous climbing whale, a water forest, a giant hammock, a trampoline and South Sea huts make the playground unique.

Opposite the Japanese Garden, the playground "Konrad in den Blumenwipeln" has been created on an area of 800 square metres. In addition to a climbing course in the form of 13 giant floating green carpets, which can be played on at a height of 40 cm to 2.20 metres and is designed for different age groups, oversized colourful flowers, a balancing course, a rope slalom and a tunnel slide await adventurous children. Another special feature are the large wooden platforms in the shape of giant leaves that extend far into the play areas and can be used without barriers.

Three giant ants and an anthill made of wood and steel await young and old below the cloud grove. The Marzahn-Hellersdorf version of the “Polynesian giant ants”, which Konrad meets during his journey, as well as the futuristic “Elektropolis” play landscape at the Kienbergpark cable car station, invite you to climb, chill out, slide and much more.
